There are many methods available to quit smoking.  However, especially in the case of heavy smokers, sometimes it may be too difficult to quit smoking. 

 

You might try different methods unsuccessfully to fail yet another time.  In some cases, even using smoking aids such as nicotine patches and nicotine gums will not be enough to help you overcome the addiction of smoking.  Then you may be forced to try over and over again to stop smoking cigarettes.

Hence you can think of hypnosis as a way to remove some conscious barriers in your mind.  Thus hypnosis can also help you relieve yourself from the many psychosomatic symptoms of the withdrawal symptoms. 

 

There are 2 ways in which you can use hypnosis to quit smoking. The first method is by going to a hypno therapist who is a specialist in using hypnosis to help overcome addictions such as smoking.

 

The hypno therapist will put you under hypnosis and the therapist will plant the appropriate suggestions in to your subconscious mind to help you stop smoking. The other method is self hypnosis in which you will use pre recorded tapes to relax and allow your subconscious to embrace quitting smoking.
